Continuing Education Requirements in Ohio for Realtors

In Ohio, realtors are required to complete additional hours of continuing education courses after receiving their real estate license.  Licensees are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every three years by their birthday.  9 out of the required 30 hours must be in separate mandatory core courses: 3 hours in Core Law, 3 hours in Ethics, and 3 hours in Civil Rights.  The remaining 21 hours are electives.  Licensees must submit proof of completion to the Ohio Real Estate Commission on or before their birthday, with the first continuing education due date being 3 years after the licensee’s first birthday following their licensure.

Competitive Title Agency is a continuing education provider licensed with the State of Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing.  We offer courses designed to help professionals increase sales, meet mandatory requirements, and stay current in their area of licensure.  The curriculum in each of our courses is written by industry experts and provides real estate professionals with important and up to date knowledge of industry related topics.  Topics covered include product training, business practices training, knowledge of the latest rules and regulations, changing market trends, and many more.  All of our courses are approved by the Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing and meet Ohio’s continuing education (CE) requirements for realtors.
